Welcome to the Allenspark Water & Sanitation District
Mission Statement:
To serve our customers with clean, safe, reliable water, in a fiscally and environmentally responsible manner.
Established in 1973, the Allenspark Water and Sanitation Special District is a special taxing district that provides water to customers within the district boundaries.
Our raw water is diverted from a year-round creek just a few miles from its origin in the Indian Peaks wilderness, is treated by ultrafiltration with minimal chemical addition (chlorine and pH adjustment), and is then stored in sufficient quantities to serve the roughly 130 taps in the district and provide typical firefighting water supply to the Allenspark Fire District via hydrants.
The water system is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the special district. Regular Board meetings are open to the public and are conducted at 6:30pm on the third Tuesday of each month in the Allenspark Fire Station community room.
Please Note: The Board has scheduled an extra meeting on March 27th at 6:30pm at the fire station.
Single Agenda Item:
1. Rules and regulations discussion regarding installation of new water meters
